Bow ties are cool
New Doctor Who was great but I don't really have a lot of time to write about it just now. Not a lot of the Ponds in this one but Matt Smith is still doing good as the Eleventh Doctor. It was a brilliant remix of of the Christmas Carol story, with more fish from space (although a different type). It was all very Christmassy. Also brilliant was the brief trailer for the next series, can't wait!

Just watched it too, was great wasn't it, light-hearted but pacy, funny yet moving, very clever, and full of good things to look at, what more could you ask for a Christmas special. I loved the way the planet had the look of a futuristic Dickensian London, that was very well-imagined.
